Two things, I found coloring the lace (whether fixing over bleached knots, coloring roots or just simply coloring a unit) with a spoolie makes the job so more easier.

Secondly, this is why I prefer wig drop offs at least 2/3 days in advance. Therefore, if things like this happen, you are not adding more time to you client’s hair appointment the day of.

Yes HD lace melts easier, but transparent lace can melt just as nice. Now that cheap brown hard lace is a different story😂😂

I do highly recommend purchasing good quality lace so it can not only melt better, but last longer as well.

A lot of you are over bleaching your knots and don’t know why. All you know is social media told you to leave the bleach on for 30 minutes and to use 40 developer.

All lace and knots are different! However, your technique or process is what’s leaving you with over bleached knots. I am a professional and I still don’t use use 40 developer. I don’t care how quick it bleaches the knot. I apply the bleach and after the first 15 minutes, I like to keep checking the lace every 5 minutes. Therefore, your bleaching process may take up to 30 minutes (with stubborn or larger knots) or shorter (with smaller knots.)

Next time you bleached your knots, try this process instead.

A lot of you have been there with me since I was doing $20 sew ins. Those of you who have been there since the beginning, know how much hair has been a passion to me. When I had the baby, I became a full time mother and wasn’t able to fully commit to my career, but we’re back!! Transitioning from full time mother to full time cosmetologist has not been the smoothest but we’re not giving up this time.

As I was sitting adding my supplies, tools and products to my Amazon cart, I thought to myself, why not make a registry? Registries should be made for any big new move in your life.

One may work from home for their own personal reasons and still be the most professional, kind hearted person and have their license. (Not all)

Remember that the next time someone say they are home based. Beside me taking 3 five minute breaks for personal reasons(depending on the service), you will love it here.
